Global Anti-Duplicate Finance Registry

One shipment.
Four banks.
Financed four times.

Trade fraud rarely needs forged paper. It just needs two lenders who cannot see each other. Super Save Protocol is the shared registry where customs authorities, banks, factoring companies and cheque cashers check a document against every other member — before the money moves, not after.

A live check

This is what a collision looks like.

Two members, forty-one days apart, register the same cargo under references that do not match character for character. Neither institution can see the other. The registry can see both, and says so before the second advance is made.

The blind spot

Every lender sees its own book. None of them see each other's.

A borrower with one genuine shipment and five bank relationships has five separate conversations, each of which looks clean in isolation. The fraud lives in the gap between institutions — which is exactly the gap a shared registry closes.

See what the check does

Double financing

The same bill of lading pledged to four banks in four countries. Each advance is genuine. Only one cargo exists.

Invoice re-factoring

One receivable sold to two factors under slightly different invoice numbers, seller names or currencies.

Multi-pledged collateral

The same warehouse stock, plant or receivable book charged to several lenders who never compare notes.

Cheque re-presentment

A cheque already dishonoured at one cashing house walks into the next one an hour later.

Registry modules

Five registries.
One fingerprint standard.

Each module handles a different instrument, but all of them write to the same registry and speak the same language: a canonical fingerprint, a 0–100 match score, and a verdict you can defend to an auditor.

Customs

Customs Registry

Shipments registered at source with bill of lading, shipping bill, commercial invoice, container and HS code. Duplicates surface at registration, not at default.

  • Reference normalisation across formats
  • SHA-256 document fingerprint
  • Party-name and cargo similarity scoring
Bank

Bank Finance

Lenders search the registry before advancing against a shipment, and record the advance once approved — so the next lender sees it.

  • Pre-disbursement duplicate check
  • Financed-status visible across members
  • Full request-to-decision trail
Collateral

Collateral Registry

Register a charge over stock, receivables, plant or property and search existing charges before you lend against the same asset twice.

  • Asset identifier search
  • Existing-charge disclosure
  • Borrower exposure across members
Factoring

Invoice Factoring

Invoices are hashed on number, seller, buyer, amount and currency, then scored for fraud — including whether the underlying shipment is already bank-financed.

  • Cross-registry double-financing check
  • Tax registration validation
  • Risk bands: low, medium, high, critical
Cheque

Cheque Verification

A central cheque registry for cashing businesses: presentment history, prior dishonours, drawer risk and duplicate presentment across every member.

  • Multi-signal verification checks
  • Presentment and dishonour history
  • Drawer and payee risk profile
Oversight

Alerts, Audit & Reports

Every match raises a case an officer can work. Every action is written to an append-only audit log and exportable for regulators.

  • Fraud alert queue with dispositions
  • Immutable audit trail
  • Scheduled and ad-hoc exports
The check

Five seconds between submission and verdict.

Order matters here — each step feeds the next, and the whole sequence runs before your officer clicks approve.

STEP 01

Submit the record

An officer enters the shipment, invoice, collateral or cheque through the member portal or your own system via API.

Input received
14 identifying fields
STEP 02

Normalise and fingerprint

References are stripped to alphanumerics and upper-cased. Company names lose their legal suffixes. The canonical form is hashed with SHA-256.

STEP 03

Match against the registry

Hard identifiers carry most of the weight. Party-name and cargo similarity add fuzzy signal on top, so near-misses do not slip through.

1 candidate found
score 97 / 100
STEP 04

Return a verdict with reasons

Never a bare number. Every verdict arrives with the specific signals that produced it, so the officer can act on evidence rather than a black box.

Verdict DUPLICATE
3 reasons cited
STEP 05

Raise, work and log the case

Suspect and duplicate results open a fraud alert for review. The disposition and every step before it are written to the audit log.

audit entry sealed
Verdict bands

Thresholds your risk team controls.

The registry does not decide your appetite. Each member sets its own thresholds, and the bands below are the defaults most institutions start with.

Read the scoring model

0–59

Clear. No meaningful overlap with an existing record. Proceed as normal.

60–84

Suspect. Enough shared signal to warrant a second pair of eyes before disbursing.

85–100

Duplicate. Treat as the same underlying document until proven otherwise.

Controls

Built to the standard your auditors already apply.

Members share the minimum needed to detect a collision — identifiers and fingerprints, not commercial terms. Access is scoped to your organisation, every read and write is logged, and nothing leaves the registry without a record of who asked.

  • Role-based access across twelve institutional roles
  • Two-factor authentication and enforced password rotation
  • Organisation-scoped data with least-privilege defaults
  • Append-only audit log covering every registry action
  • Encryption in transit and at rest
